Where the oil in our cosmetics is born

Our biological olive oil comes from our plantation located on Mount Taburno, italian excellence and and symbol of a centuries-old tradition linked to nature: Virgilio himself wrote into his pages how much the mount of “The Great Taburno” was suitable for the olive tree cultivation.

It’s from this land and from the Telesina and and Caudina Valleys’ hills that our Sannio Caudino Telesino extra virgin olive oil is born.
It embodies the qualities of a rich and fertile land and of a manufacturing process attentive to detail.

The result is an healthy product, which brings with it colours, perfumes and flavours of this land.

Mount Taburno’s olive oil characteristics

Sannio Caudino Telesino’s Olive Oil is an Italian extra virgin olive oil, enriched by green nuances, and soft herbaceous notes to the nose. With an intense aroma, it’s characterised by clear hints of ripe apple and tomato, while on the palate it is harmonious and delicate, with pleasant bitter and spicy notes. The final product embodies the elements of tradition and craftsmanship of a dedicated and carefully manufacturing process.

Harvest and squeezing

Olives are harvested by hand, transported and stored at the mill with care and respecting the humidity and temperature conditions.

Olives are then milled within 24 hours of harvesting, which is the optimal condition in terms of yield, taste, flavor, consistency. We obtain an oil, our raw material that in combination with Retinol, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter distinguishes our cosmetic line.
